Friday 22nd July – bike *** – Short two rivers, Deben to the Orwell – mainly cloudy, cooler with a little light rain.

Another cooler day which was mainly cloudy, a little sunshine in the late afternoon but also some very light rain! I had one eye on the wind as might have been some breeze in the late afternoon, so usual morning at home exercising in the back garden. Then with no sign of the breeze arriving we cycled over to a young lady who we have child minded since she was three months old where Mag had arranged to help her with her 21st Birthday cake, where did those years go! We had a wonderful afternoon chatting while mag and Georgia iced the cake and wonderful it looked too, we will enjoy having a piece tomorrow at the party:) Then just after 5 we left, Mag headed for home via the prom while I whizzed down to Felixstowe into a head wind! Out on the bumpy Deben path leading to Marsh Lane where I had a few spots of rain which did not amount to anything, even spotted a hare in the recently combined wheat:) Then straight down to The Fludgers where I did the complete length of the prom, fast too as very few people about! Through Landguard Nature Reserve to the dock view point as a Ferry entered Harwich, then back through Langer Park and home. So we have a party tomorrow with Sunday and Monday looking very good for some windsurfing action somwhere:)
